Walter married Lydia Maud BARNES^{1, 2} daughter of William BARNES and Rebecca Louisa RICHARDSON on 15 Feb 1915 in East Ham Congregational Church. Lydia was born on 10 Dec 1892 in Bethnal Green. She died in 1956 in Chippenham, Wilts.
